With an impressive portfolio of 45 successful events and a roster of over 70 talented professional boxers, we are at the forefront of the sport’s growth in the region. Our expertise lies in organizing professional boxing events, facilitating and managing world-class boxing shows, and providing comprehensive management for professional boxers, ensuring their careers thrive on a global stage.
In addition to event management and promotions, we are dedicated to nurturing talent through our modern and well-equipped academy located in Bengaluru, India. Here, we focus on training and developing the next generation of boxing stars, blending professional coaching with a vision to elevate the sport to new heights.
FOUNDERS
Mujtaba Kamal
Mujtaba Kamal began his boxing journey at the age of nine, representing India in amateur boxing for 15 years and securing numerous international medals. He transitioned to professional boxing in 2010 but faced significant challenges, including a career-ending injury due to a lack of support and guidance. Since then, he has committed himself to establishing a professional boxing system in India, helping top Indian boxers launch their careers and evolve into international champions.
Currently, he serves as the region’s leading boxing promoter, manager, and matchmaker. He organizes events in India, the UAE, and Thailand and has extensive matchmaking experience with leading global promotions such as Queensberry, Top Rank, Matchroom, Riyadh Season, Rising Stars Arabia, and many more. The WBC has recognized his contribution to elevating professional boxing in the region and appointed him as the WBC India Ambassador. Mujtaba is dedicated to ensuring Indian fighters gain global recognition and success.
Rani Kamal
Rani Kamal, an ex-professional Indian rugby player and a seasoned strength and conditioning expert, has made a significant impact in the world of sports and athlete management. Known for her exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering dedication, she seamlessly transitioned from her athletic career to playing a pivotal role in the development and management of sports operations. As an athlete herself, she brings a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by athletes, which she channels into managing events and nurturing talent. Joining forces with her husband, Mujtaba Kamal, Rani has been the backbone of Grassroot Boxing, contributing to its growth and success. Her expertise extends to overseeing event operations and building systems that empower athletes, making her an integral part of the organization’s mission to elevate the boxing landscape in India and beyond.
